The Hague Pottery Factory Rozenburg initially made earthenware based on the old Delftware. With the arrival of Theo Colenbrander (1841 – 1930) in 1884, the assortment changed drastically. The designs of this artist were revolutionary due to their daring shapes and original paintings. He found his inspiration in nature and in oriental cultures.
