From 1900 onwards, the Hague factory Rozenburg became internationally successful with its delicate ‘eggshell porcelain’. The asymmetrical compositions on a white background have a Japanese feel, which was appreciated. Rozenburg provided the elegant models with refined painted flowers, birds and insects in soft tones.
